Great suggestions. One book that has been incredibly thought-provoking and challenging for me is the book "Love & Respect" by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. The majority of the book focuses on the commands given to husbands/wives in Ephesians 5 and then gives simple acronyms that help you remember the specific ways you can show Love or Respect to your spouse. This is definitely a book both partners should read!

The book "Reforming Marrige" by Douglas Wilson had a huge impact on your mother and I, back in 1999, as we took about 6 months to read it out loud, together, debreifing our previous 22 years of marriage, paragraph by paragraph. This was our premeir book reading experience after we first committed to listen to and work hard to understand each other.

Kudos to "Sheet Music"! A very valuable read, even for those who think they know it all.

We attended a 14 week long "Love & Respect" by Emmerson Eggerichs video and workbook style seminaf/class last winter up at Swea City hosted by Van & Susan Daqvis. The material and concepts taught were exceptional. We read the book, and listened to the audio book, and have passsed them on to your youngest sibling. Good Stuff.
